My name is Noah Salmond, and I am a Physical Education teacher, coach, and Sports Science graduate with a passion for helping young people discover their potential.
As a former athlete, I experienced firsthand how science, movement, and education work together to improve performance and overall well-being. After studying Sports Science and beginning my career in education, I recognized an opportunity to help students connect what they learn in the classroom to the sports and activities they love.
That vision led to the creation of The Youth Sports Science Initiative.
YSSI was founded to provide students with engaging opportunities to explore STEM through sports while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, reading, and writing skills. Through hands-on learning experiences, athletic development, and leadership activities, students discover that every movement has purpose.
My goal is simple: to inspire the next generation to become confident learners, healthy individuals, and future leaders.
